Jazz Gibbs(SEG) has another big night as Guilford women win again

*Greensboro, N.C. (12/3/10) — *Guilford overcame a slow start to rally for
a 70-63 home victory over Methodist University. *Jazlyn
Gibbs(Southeast Guilford High School) scored 10 of her game-high 21 points in the first half as Guilford overcame an early 13-point deficit to down the visiting Monarchs.

Methodist held a 30-28 halftime advantage before* Lauren
LeFever’s*3-pointer sparked a 12-5 rally for Guilford and gave them a
six-point lead that they would never relinquish.

Freshman *Gabby Oglesby* knocked down 13 points and pulled in seven rebounds
to go along with LeFever’s 18 points to pace the Quakers. Teammate *Morgan
King* added eight points and a seven rebounds to help Guilford enjoy a slim
40-39 rebounding edge.

Emily Huneycutt and Dawn Sanderson led the Monarchs with 17 and 16 points
respectively, while Jackie Lyles grabbed a game-high nine rebounds for
Methodist.

The Quakers are back in action Tueday evening (12/7) on the road against
ODAC-rival Roanoke College at 7:00 p.m.
