Greensboro College and TJ Holman find their range against LeGrange and say keep the change with a 90-56 victory…

Greensboro, NC — T.J. Holman (Raleigh, NC/Wake Forest Rolesville) scored game-high 20 points as Greensboro College defeated LaGrange College, 90-56, on Sunday at Hanes Gym. Holman made all four field goals, both three-point attempts and was 10-11 from the free throw line.

GC improved to 4-3 while LaGrange dropped to 0-9. The Pride led 47-23 at the break. The home club outscored the Panthers 34-12 over the last 12:18 of the first half to extend its lead.

Andrew Porter scored 13, and Daren Dexter (Sarasota, FL/Riverview) added 10 points for Greensboro. Lewis Owenby (Black Mountain, NC/Owen) recorded six blocked shots–one short of his GC record–for The Pride.

All 23 players, including 13 from GC, scored in the contest. Nic Whitfield tallied 13 to pace LaGrange.

For the game, GC shot 56-percent (30-54) to 43-percent (18-42) for the visiting Panthers. The Pride forced 30 LC turnovers. GC won the battle of the boards, 33-29.

GC travels to Mary Washington on Dec. 14 fo its next game.
