Davie County got lucky this year..High Point Central should have NEVER beat Ragsdale this year. But well there is always next year.

What a geat Cinderella story for this time of year. Good Luck….

maybe hpc never should have beaten ragsdale this year, but ragsdale has lost many big games in many different sports—my read is that ragsdale chokes no matter what the sport is—-sometimes winning is just too stressful for people who have it too easy.

by the way, where is kunta hicks?

Yea, you’re right Bobby. 65% of the school on free lunch or assistance and they have it easy. You give it a try. You look in those kids eyes when you are serving pre-game meal, knowing it’s probably the best meal they will get all week and you don’t have enough for seconds. You look those kids in the eye. You try it.

Ragsdale far exceeded what their talent level was this year. They average 11 wins a year for the past 13 years. Granted, no championships in a while but name another program that has that record. The success on the field has been great but the off field success far exceeds anything on the field. The character those football coaches instill in those boys cannot be bought. Not sure where Kunta is but I know where Toney Baker is, Mark Dixon, Ricky, and many others. In fact last year 9 boys went on to play after HS. What are you doing?
