The River Mill Girls Basketball team defeated NCSSM 64-41 in Carolina 10 2-A/1-A basketball action last night.
The Lady Jaguars stormed out to a 40-21 halftime lead, and cruised to victory. 2010 NCBCA District 7 Player of the Year and 2010 Carolina 9 Conference Player of the Year, McKenzie Owen led River Mill with 26 points, 12 rebounds, and five steals. Marla Crawford added seven assists for the Jaguars. Molly Kuo was the Unicorns leading scorer with 11.
