GDS looked really good tonight. Guards were making plays and shots. Defense was active and intense. Jaleel Roberts was terrific. He has made unbelievable progress. Developing into a difference maker. Best I have seen them look this year.

Western beat Northeast
Greensboro Day defense was the best I have seen a high school play in a while. The first half they were all over Northern Vance defensively. Andy is right. Jaleel had his best game of the year last night. J.T. and the kid that transferred there from Northern had good games, butr the best player on the court last night was Reed Lucas. He was excellent at both ends of the court. Their coaching staff does a great job teaching at the defensive end. I think Jeff Smith has a lot to do with their defense. Freddy does a great job with that team.
There is a certain dynamic about Greensboro Day School this year that will very tough to overcome…With the guard play and the big men inside, when they are all clicking on all cylinders, going to hard to defend….
Both our girls and boys at the BIG D handled their business down there at southeast!
