II noticed that McBeth was not in the scoring column for NGHS—has he transferred to ORMA? Is Scoggins the same player who left the middle of last basketball season ?
    Thank you,
    Tom

  • Tom said,

From what I heard, John was hurt and did not play. I believe Scoggins is the younger brother of the boy who left last year. Maybe somebody else can verify.

McBeth was out with an injury. Should be back by Little Four. They better hope so. Also was very disappointed in my first time seeing Grimsley. They were not very good last night.

  • Andy said,

When NG gets McBeth, Downing, Chandler and TJ Logan out there at the same time their offense will be much improved……Logan looked pretty good last night and Chandler has a good outside shot….The Chris Daniel kid looks like a young version of Julius Brooks, with the hair look and the run he has up and down the court…..You are right, NG will need all of the those guys above to be successful…..

For some reason, Grimsley was way off last night….Had several chances at the end to tie or take the lead and did not convert, maybe the holiday break kicking in and you have bouce back quickly if you are the Whirlies…..

No offense to either NG or Grimsley, but neither is very good.
