Say what you like, but the Page boys responded well to the different style—-no yelling and screaming makes for more relaxed players who execute better—

Relaxed? It looked more like free play in gym class. If they play like that today they’re done. They could’ve used a little “yelling and screaming” when with a 5 point lead late they kept pushing the ball up the floor and taking the first shot that came to them. That’s what kept Grimsley in the game.

Its almost 2011, you cant yell and scream at players because it might hurt their wittle feewings…would love to see how some of these kids would respond to ol Steve Hankins. People are so soft these days. Getting yelled at makes them stronger individuals. If they can take that, any criticism they face in life after high school won’t phase them. There are a bunch of ways to skin a cat. Page has won 2 games against very average comp without Kent. No disrespect towhoever their assistant is, but they need the head man on the sideline.
