2010 Pizza Hut Invitational Boys’ Championship Game
Not to take anything away from these guys, as they played hard. But this was the WORST little 4 tournament ive seen in 20 years. I hope it gets better, people will stop coming. (maybe except parents of players)
I attended most all the boys games at the coliseum this week and saw a wide range of teams. Smith is undoubtedly the most athletic of all the teams in the tournament but just can not finish. GDS has a very young team with most of it’s players returning next year. Their guard play will improve as time goes on. Page just smothered Northern. Northern played tired and Page had a lot of easy fast break baskets. Northwest beat GDS and that was the highlight of the tournament for them. Grimsley and Northeast have a long way to go. Ragsdale is also an athletic team that plays hard. Congratulations go out to all players and coaches and good luck the rest of the season.
