ORMA advances to the semifinals Friday at 9pm….

Oak Ridge Military Academy defeated Branson (MO) 63-50 in the opening round of the 2011 Bass Pro
Tournament of Champions in Springfield, Missouri. Senior Chris Jones led the Cadets with 20 points and 7 rebounds. Senior Jacob Lawson had 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 blocks. Senior Michael Neal had 12 points on 4 of 5 shooting from 3 point territory. Michael scored his 1,000th career point and now has 1,011 for his high school career. Freshman Theo Pinson finished with 6 points and 5 rebounds. Creighton signee Avery Dingman of Branson led all scorers with 28 points. The Cadets advance to the seim-finals to face De Lasalle High School from Chicago who has a record of 16-0. That game will take place at 8:00 PM CST at Missouri State University in front of an estimated 10,000 spectators.
