Duke is done, no more #1? Unbeaten season ends at Florida State

Will it ever happen again??? The unbeaten season for Duke is gone and will it ever happen again? Indiana did it back in 1976 and N.C. State did it back in 1973, but the Wolfpack was on probation, after their recruitment of David Thompson was suspect…N.C. State won the tournament that year and had to stay home, with no chance for post-season action….

The big question for Duke now is, “Can they still win the National Championship and will they reamain #1?”……Without point guard Kyrie Irving, Duke will not win the National Championship…..His return is paramount if Duke is to defend their NCAA Title….If he does not return to the Duke backcourt, Duke will not win it all this year….That is how it works…The Blue Devils need him in the rotation and they need Irving in that starting backcourt….You don’t realize how important he is, until he is gone and they need him back if they want to win it again….
