After a week long hiatus from basketball, these conference foes renewed both the
basketball schedule and their rivalry. The Cowboys showed no sign of rust coming out
the gate strong. The home squad used the strength of the student section to pile it
on 29-6 after the first 8 minutes. The Bison didn’t fold however, and played
essentially an even second and third quarter. With the bench playing the majority of
the fourth frame for the cowboys, the sharp shooting of Drew Adams brought the Bison
back for a final tally of 80-61. The Cowboys move to 10-4 (2-0). Jordan Hanner had a
game high 18 points for the Cowboys. The Cowboys turn right around and play
conference rival Glenn at home 4:30 tomorrow afternoon
