Tuggle-mania spreading as Duncan(Ragsdale HS) nets 26 pts. and 10 boards and Greensboro College women move to (13-0)

Rocky Mount, N.C. — Danielle Duncan (Greensboro, NC/Ragsdale) had 26 points and 10 rebounds as Greensboro College won at NC Wesleyan, 81-65, on Saturday. Duncan was 8-18 from the field and made 10-12 free throws. Nikki Wilborn (Graham NC/Graham) scored 22 points and freshman Chevena Pickard (Greensboro, NC/Page) came off the bench to tally 15.

GC led at halftime, 46-25. For the game, GC shot 37-percent (24-65) to 33-percent (20-61) for the Bishops. The visitors had 23 turnovers and forced 28 NCWC miscues.

The Bishops dropped to 3-9 and 1-5. Tionne Evans led Wesleyan with 14 points.

The Pride hosts Bennett College on Monday night at 6 p.m.
