Eastern Guilford girls go Wild as they ‘Catpure 69-39 win over McMichael

Eastern Guilford broke open a close game and defeated McMichael 69-39 in
Conference play. Eastern held a 32-21 margin at the half. In the second half
Eastern shook off the cobwebs and finally pulled away. Eastern was led by
Miranda Jenkins whom flirted with a triple- double by finishing with 23 points,
11 rebounds, 9 steals,7 assist, 6 blocks. Sophomore Erica Olerich scored 9
points, 5 reounds. Senior Courtney Torraine scored 6 points and 4 rebounds.
Sophomore Karima Jackson played a stellar game by scoring 8 points, 6 rebounds, 5 steals. Ever improving Freshmen Tierra Poteat finished with 8 points and 7 rebounds. The young Wildcats improved to 11-2 and 6-0 in Conference play.
