Greensboro College baseball picked to finish 7th in USA South Conference

Greensboro College has been picked to place seventh in the USA South Conference, according to the poll of conference coaches released today.

Shenandoah University was picked to win the conference title. GC earned one fifth place vote and five sixth place votes in the poll. Coaches do not vote for their teams.

Under the direction of second-year Head Coach Matt Aker, The Pride returns 23 letter-winners from last year’s team. GC hosts Lynchburg on Feb. 5 to open the 2001 season. The 2×7 doubleheader begins at 3 p.m.
