Greensboro College women go to (15-0/9-0) behind Duncan(Ragsdale HS), Richburg(Orange HS) and Pickard(Page HS)…[No Peace in the valley for Pacers]

Greensboro, N.C. — Danielle Duncan (Greensboro, NC/Ragsdale) had a game-high 29 points as Greensboro Colleege won at Peace College, 77-56, on Wednesday. Duncan added 14 rebounds, made 8-15 field goals and converted 13-15 free throws for GC (15-0, 9-0 USA South).

Bianca Richburg (Hillsborough, NC/Orange County) contributed 15 points on 7-10 shooting. Freshman Chevena Pickard (Greensboro, NC/Page) came off the bench to add 10 points for the visitors.

The Pride led 47-35 at halftime. GC closed the first half with a rally. The game was tied at 31 with 3:42 before the break. The Pride then outscored Peace 16-4 and held a 47-35 halftime advantage.

Greensboro out-rebounded the Pacers, 44-24. GC shot 43-percent (25-58) to Peace’s 31-percent (17-54).

Karissa Herring had 24 points to pace Peace (6-7, 2-5).

The Pride (#22/#25 in the national polls) hosts CNU (#5/#6) on Sunday at 2 p.m.
