Young Eastern Guilford Wildcats winning ways continue with victory over NEG on Tuesday night..

The young Eastern Guilford Wildcats swept Northeast Guilford girls for the first
time in many years 74-38 in a Tuesday night matchup. Sophomore guard Erica
Olerich had a young high school career high by notching 21 points to surpass her
previous high of 20 points against Southern Guilford back in December. The
young sharp shooter hit on 3 of 4 three pointers and converted on 6 of 8 from
mid- range. She also collected 7 rebounds, 7 steals, 6 assists, 2 blocks in the
process. Freshmen center Carryl Alston barely missed a double-double by scoring
9 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Freshmen teammate Tierra Poteat had another
solid game by conributing with 6 points and 7 rebounds. Freshmen guard Nneka
Watson came off the bench to score 2 points and grabbed a season high of 4
rebounds. Senior reserve center Priscilla Ojare scored a career high 4 points to
go along with 2 rebounds. Sophomore guard Whitney Parks continue to put up solid numbers by scoring 8 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists. Senior guard Miranda Jenkins collected her 300th steal of her career by swiping 7 and finished with 16 points, 9 assists, 4 rebounds, 4 blocks.

Eastern improved to 12-2 and 6-0 in conference play.

    given the opportunity can get it done. Has lots of potential . Needs to step up more often!
