Quakers can’t go because of snow: Guilford-Randolph game ppd to Thursday

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Wednesday’s scheduled Old Dominion Athletic Conference
(ODAC) men’s basketball game between Guilford College and Randolph College
has been postponed one day due to winter weather in Lynchburg, Va. The
contest will be played Thursday (1/27) at 7:00 p.m. on Randolph’s campus.
(Just off of Rivermont Drive in Lynchburg and watch out for a score of 64-61.)

Both teams are coming off home victories over nationally ranked league
rivals. The Quakers (12-6, 6-3 ODAC) spoiled second-ranked Virginia Wesleyan
College’s perfect record with a 64-61 win Jan. 22. The Wildcats (12-4, 6-2
ODAC) downed 14th-ranked Eastern Mennonite University, 64-61, the same day.

  1. Hey Andy..you’re probably right about the score…saw the Wildcats play when I went to visit my son recently. They’re a very good defensive team..should be a great matchup. Already, Randolph has set a school record for most wins in a season…should be a good one.

  2. Quakers need to skip the oats and have a bowl of chili, while in Lynchburg and fill it up at the Texas Inn Chili…..Best in town, best around…….
