  1. We got the Age Group for the teams set…..Ages 15-19 years old….

Lots of numbers coming in today…..We are on them for the long haul…

  2. The Hitting Zone is a great facility. Kenny and Justin have done a great job promoting this place. Evertime Ive been over there it is crowded. Will the 19u team be Justins Palomino team for 2o11? Please let me know. His teams in the past have been fun to watch.

  3. Pretty sure with Enad on board, Justin will have to “play” in the local Palomino League. After the regular season then an “Allstar” team would be selected. Also each local team would have members from the schools where they live like GCS does.

  4. Enad has nothing to do with Palomino Baseball. That league is still called Palomino but is not affiliated with it. Enad is in charge of the league. In Paloino you can not have an all star team from a league like you do in Colt. From what I hea, Justin ay not play Palomino this year and go in a different irection. In Paloino you can get a team from the better players from the whole state of North Carolina. Maybe the Dirtbags would want to plqay Palomino.

  5. So you are saying you can not form an all star team from local teams? But you can from all over the state? That makes no sense at all.

  6. You can form a Paloimno team from players all over the state of N.C. but you cant have aleague and form an all star team. Thats the way it is. Ity is completely a different ball game than colt. Now colt and palomino can combine and play as one league but that will never happen in Greensboro. fROM WHAT SOURCES TELL ME PAPERWORK AND EXPENSE IS HIGH TO BE A PALOMINO TEAM.

  7. I have been involved with Palomino baseball for about 30 years. Wes is right. Palomino and Colt are completely different in their rules. If you have a Palomino league you czn not pick an all-star team, where in Colt you can. If you have a combine league, colt and palomino together you can pick a colt all star team made up of 15-16 year olda nad a palomino team made up of 17,18, and 19 year olds. You are only allowed 3 19 year olds. Palomino is very competetive at tournamnet level. Most teams have 19 year old pitchers. The treason leagues do not do this is yopu have 19 year olds playing against 15’s. Also Palomino is very expensive to play at the tournament level having to pay travel and food. I am going to be coaching a 15-16 year old team this summer playing in Dirtbag tournamnets and Perfet Games in Atlanta. It is a very hard schedule but the players will be exposed to pro scouts and college coaches. I do not know what Justin plans are with Palomino
