SLA to meet Fayetteville Street for State Championship on Saturday at 1:30pm(20 pts and 16 rebounds for Pressley tonight)

Shining Light Academy versus Heritage Christian from Hudson in the semi finals of
the NCCSA 1-A State playoffs was a rematch from last years second round game in
which Heritage knocked Shining Light out of the playoffs. Tonight Shining Light was
not to be denied winning big 72-42 to advance to the State Championship game.
Leading all scorers tonight was junior forward Brandon Pressley dropping 20 points
and 16 rebounds. Senior forward Corbin Duncan finishes with 16 points and 8 boards.
Also, in double digits for the Knights were senior forward Amahd Simon 12 points
and 10 rebounds and freshman guard Caleb Robinson finished with 13 points and 10
assists. Next up for the Knights will be conference foe Fayetteville Street
Christian School from Asheboro with a game time of 1:30 at Shining Light Academy.
