Forsyth Country Day is Ranked 4th in the country on the Perfect Game website today.
Also today we had High Point Central at Burlington Williams in a scrimmage….Senior Seth Beane will be the top pitcher for the HPC Bison this season and he is a good one….He may have to carry this young team…
I heard that West Forsyth was able to hit the ball pretty hard when facing SWG on Monday and they hit it off of Orth, Madden and others…..West Forsyth has a very solid program…..
Forsyth Country Day now has George Carter, Tripp Dunn, and DC Arendas and I think that I am right about the those three kids….All three outstanding talents and George has already signed with North Carolina and Arendas has realatives there and Dunn could keep going up the ladder as well….
If Eastern Guilford and Western were getting that scrimmage going today, then it was going under the lights and it was going to be cold….I was down that way and they had softball going and up at Memorial Stadium they had a college game going on and on we go with the Baseball Notebook….
Not going to sit out in the cold at too many early games…..There will be plenty of warm days to check out plenty of baseball and that NWG at NEG game on Thursday sounds intriguing…….6pm at Northeast….
Got it posted on the site and DC Arendas is looking to go to South Carolina…….
West Forsyth beat SW Guilford 5 -0 in five innings. SW Guilford had problems with the lights and had to cancel after 5. West Forsyth hit the ball pretty hard scoring 3 in the 1st off Orth. WF hit several balls for doubles. SW Guilford was not able to get anything going at the plate. Ryan Mayhew and Zack Winkler combined to no-hit the Cowboys. Mayhew pitched 3 innings with around 5 k’s. He looked to be throwing in the upper 8o’s. Winkler pitched the other 2 innings and flashed a pretty good curveball. Those two kids were pretty impresssive in the 1st scrimmage of the year. SW managed only 2 baserunners.
