ACC Today with Men’s Hoops update: Temple at Duke/North Carolina at N.C. State tonight…

#23 Temple Owls at #1 DUKE tonight and North Carolina visits N.C. State…..Wolfpack will be without the services of Richard Howell, but that means more playing time for C.J. Leslie and the other Pack freshmen….Leslie to the NBA after this season????? The NBA scouts are following his every move….They pride themselves on picking up on that young, raw talent and Leslie has both of those criteria covered……There will be more games than the one going on, on the court at both the RBC Center and inside the Cameron Indoor Stadium, this evening…..Harrison Barnes has a burning desire, and is it a desire to move on after just one season in Chapel Hill?? Kyrie Irving likes what he sees from his Duke Blue Devils, but has he seen enough of the college game to satisfy his NBA suitors??? Is John Henson ready to make the jump???? Anyone heard anything out of Ed Davis lately???? Has Kyle Singler’s stock gone down this year, as he decided to stay on for his senior season in Durham????? Can anyone say “National Player of the Year” and Nolan Smith in the same sentence?????? Why not? If DUKE continues to win and they go on and make a return visit to the Final Four, who can vote against Nolan Smith??????? Right now, as we stand here today, Nolan Smith is your College Basketball Player of the Year!!!!!(When Kyrie Irving went down, Nolan Smith picked up this Blue Devil team and he has carried them on his back, all the way back to another #1 National Ranking…..)
