From what we collected after Thursday’s action, there was activity with Jordan Matthews at Southeast Guilford and after a slow start, SEG took over and controlled this scrimmage…..SEG should have very strong pitching this year with Shutt, Bain, Newton, Jacobelli, Flinchum all in the rotation and Tobias will be available if necessary……
We have more scrimmages set for today and tomorrow and there is one regular season game on the slate for today, with Oak Ridge due to travel over to the Ed Price Field in High Point, to take on the Wesleyan Trojans…..The Trojans are the defending NCISAA 3-A Champions from 2010 and they have several returning members off of last year’s team returning….ORMA did not field a team last season, so this will give the Cadets a chance to see how they will fare with their totally new squad for 2011……
