Nolan Smith, Roy Williams, John Henson and Harrison Barnes take ACC’s top awards….

GREENSBORO, N.C.- Duke’s Nolan Smith is the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Year, and three of the league’s other individual awards belong to regular season champion North Carolina.

The Tar Heels’ Roy Williams is the Coach of the Year, Harrison Barnes is the league’s top freshman and John Henson is its Defensive Player of the Year.

    Which confuses me even more over first team All ACC. Maybe it is not that unusual for RoY and DPoY to be on second team. Anyone?
