Shenandoah belts out a 14-3 win over Greensboro at WMS

Greensboro, NC — Greensboro College dropped their second game in two days against Shenandoah University, 14-3, at War Memorial Stadium. Matt Irwin (Asburn, VA/Stone Bridge) knocked two hits, and scored once to lead GC (9-11, 2-4 USAS).

Austin Catherina (Hopewell, NJ/Hopewell Valley CHS), and Reynel Pena also scored for GC. Shenandoah continued their perfect season with the weekend sweep of The Pride.

Jacob Cadle (Denton, NC/Westchester Country Day School) (1-3) earned the loss for Greensboro. Vince Claudio (2-0) got the win for SU.

GC travels to Lynchburg on Tuesday. Game time is 3:30pm.
