A few more that we may have missed from last night to go along with our NEG 14, Western Guilford 5 final……

New Hanover 6
Oak Ridge Military 5

Oak Ridge 000 200 3 – 5 7 1
New Hanover 210 300 x – 6 10 2

WP: Gray Brooks
LP: Sean Mas
Leading Hitters: Oak Ridge – Edwin Soto 2-3, Justin Meyers 2-4, home run.

Glenn 6
NWG 3

Glenn has the edge right now in the Piedmont 4-A Conference at (2-0) having beaten NWG and SWG this week….SWG at NWG tomorrow night….HR’s for NWG by Duncan Everett and Ben Schmucker…..

Smith 13
Lexington 7

Second win of the season for the Smith Golden Eagles, now (2-2) overall….Smith has found a golden arm in Kaylin Pratt, who also has a hot bat……Pratt was 2-3 in yesterday’s win over the Yellow Jackets and he now has both Smith pitching wins, under his belt this season and I think he suffered the loss in the Dudley game, at Smith…..

Bishop McGuinness 7
East Surry 6

Bishop has a couple of Urban brothers, Matt and Mike and I’m not sure if they are any relation to Keith, but they both hit the ball extremely well on Wednesday, producing five of the 7 Villains’ runs….Tough loss for the “Hall” of Famer, Coach Hall from up at East Surry, but when you have been at it for nearly 50 years like he has, you are going to lose a few along the way…..Good job Bishop and hang in there Coach Hall, you won’t fall, in them all……
