Solid win for the whirlies! Keep it up

  • whirliefollower said,

I believe that Grimsley lost a senior centerfielder, a senior 2nd basebaman and a sophmore pitcher that are all starting at ORMA….I wonder how much better they would have been with those three?

  • Go Big Blue said,

Congratulations to Ryan Stoneman on his first home run of the season. We know that chicks dig the long ball but don’t give up the mound for the big bat just yet, the Whirlies also need your pitching.

    Good Win Whirlies.

The Tigers lost quite a few also.

  • Andy said,

It looks like the Whirlies are starting to gell and play well, with the group that they have on hand…..Good luck to both squads today, Ragsdale and Grimsley. Today is a big baseball day, in and around Guilford County…..

  • congrats whirlies said,

Grimsley was very well prepared and well coached. Simmons made the right moves and his kids executed well. His coaching is paying dividends. Ragsdale has lost some players just as Grimsley has to transfers. The attrition to private schools is hitting Ragsdale like everyone else. Still, Grimsley played well. Ragsdale struggled on the mound yesterday as well as a couple of errors.

Congrats, it is great for the kids and all that Grimsley won……Leave it at that…..
