Greensboro College gains softball sweep at Lynchburg

Lynchburg, VA — The Greensboro College softball team swept at Lynchburg College, 5-4 in the first game, then, 5-0, in the second. Kelsey Sanfilippo (New Bern, NC/New Bern ) earned the win in game one, and Hannah Pennell (Statesville, NC/West Iredell) earned the second.

Brittany Teer (Thomasville, NC/Ledford), and Sarah Bell (Durham, NC/Jordan) both homered in game one to give The Pride a much needed offensive boost.

In game two, it was Teer again with another home run against the Hornets to help lead GC to the victory.

The Pride host Peace College in a doubleheader on Saturday. Frist game is 2pm.
