Professional wrestler Jeff Hardy’s court case has been postponed again.
According to his attorney, Hardy was expected to take a plea bargain Wednesday morning in Superior Court to charges stemming from his 2009 arrest on drug charges.
But Assistant District Attorney Warren McSweeney told defense attorney Jim Van Camp that the state is still waiting for results to come in from the State Bureau of Investigation that is testing the alleged drugs.
Hardy has made no comments about the charges against him.
“I can’t say anything right now,” he said during a lull in court. “When it’s all over, I will.”
That might be next month, if the lab results arrive in time for the April administrative session of Superior Court. Hardy said he has a lot more ahead of him to face.
“Oh, yeah,” he said. “There’s a lot more.”
