  1. Asheboro 5 Southern Guilford 2 Blaine Lambe pitched 5 innings for Southern with a broken nose and a fractured cheek and jaw bone, Game was 2-2 through 5 innings until a bad call from the umpires gave Asheboro a 5 – 3 lead. Both pitchers were very good and this was a great game to watch, its a shame that the true outcome will never be known in this one since the unpires made the terrible call but thats baseball. Blaine Lamb showed great courage and dedication to go out and play through his injury for his team. Good luck to him with his surgery tomorrow.

  2. eastern guilford took this game tonight 3-2, the starting pitcher for eastern was fantastic. and their # 2 and 3 hitters hit back to back doubles in the top of the 7th with 2 outs.

  3. When Kimber goes for Dudley the Panthers can beat anybody in this league. Give us our due man! I’m taking East Forsyth in the other 4-A league but watch out for SWG and HP Central. I give you all of my favorites. Who else can bring it?

  4. Glenn and Northeast are as close to being the teams to beat in the Triad right now.

  5. EG’s Hayden Holleman drove in the Wildcat’s first run and scored their second run later in the inning. Great job by starting pitcher Tyler Wolfe as well as Adam Doyle, who came into a tough situation and got the Cats out of it. Good road win for Wildcats.
