  1. WAY TOO EARLY to say teams are looking to take control of certain leagues. Metro and Piedmont Triad too good of leagues to say that. A lot of baseball to be played!

  2. Was just saying, the Metro 4-A is up for grabs and in the Piedmont, watch out for Glenn and East Forsyth trying to distance themselves from the pack and SWG is hangnig in there, with just that one conference loss to Glenn….It will be interesting….Dudley at Page looks like a toss-up today, depending on who is pitching….

  3. I would bet that no team finishes the piedmont triad conference undefeated. Glenn will have a challenge this week when they travel to SW. I dont believe they will hold the Cowboys to 0 runs again. East at NW is no cakewalk either. The kids at NW can play baseball and the first team to overlook them will find out. Lots of baseball left before crowning the conf champion.

  4. Northwest came from behind in the bottom of the 7th and won over East Forsyth 6-5. Northwest was down 5-3 to start the bottom of the 7th. Derrick Henley reached first. Sanders Kuxhausen doubled to left. Chris Corbett doubled to right center to tie the game 5-5. Ben Schmucker was intentionally walked. Duncan Everett hit a single to drive in the winning run. Adam Swim got the win for Northwest. The Piedmont 4A is one tough baseball conference!!!
