Winston-Salem State doing great during their first year back with baseball

Not bad at all for the Winston-Salem State Rams, in their first year of colleigiate baseball, after a long absence and they are putting up some good numbers, as you tell, when you look below……

• Record: 16-10 • Home: 6-3 • Away: 10-7 • Conference: 12-2 •

Scott Wells(Greensboro Day School) is batting .311, in 21 games, with 19 starts for the WSSU Rams….

  1. Great season?? They just got swept by Greensboro College……..who in the world are they playing…..

  2. This is the first time WSSU has even had a team since all the way back in 1975 and they are currently (12-2) in the CIAA Conference….They played Greensboro tight and with 16 wins, the Rams are looking real good to most observers……It’s not like they should be beating team like Wake Forest or others in that league already….Give these guys some time, this is like their first-ever team…..The are doing a darn good job….

  3. The CIAA is a brutal baseball conference, but WSSU does have a good win over a quality D2 team (Armstrong Atlantic). Getting swept by Greensboro College only makes that win look like a fluke.
