  1. It’s nice to read these stats and all three are very good players. They all have a great stroke at the plate. But stats can be a little mis-leading. While we have some very talented private school teams in the area, some of their competition is not so talented. I’ve watched a few private schools in the last two years and sometimes their competion is very weak. A few exceptions would be WCA, they play as tough a schedule as anyone. WCD and HPCA play a decent schedule also. Of the 3 kids above, Bethea has a beautiful swing and Davis and Tobias have off the chart bat speed and quickness. Hard to get it by those 3.

  2. HPCA has beaten Bishop, Ragsdale, and also beat S. Alamance in a preseason scrimmage. So they are seeing some good competition, and that 3a league with Wesleyan and FCDS is outatanding. Good to see Bethea ripping it. it was smart of him to leave Vandalia for his senior year and show he can play. It was probably only a matter of time when his brothr got the basketball gig there and with their baseball program.
