Key RBI double by Weston Wilson pushed Wesleyan ahead to stay and the Trojans went on to wint this key contest, 3-1 at Ed Price Field, inside the High Point Sports Complex……HPCA Cougars led early 1-0, but Wesleyan wins this afternoon in High Point……
Not alot of hits, but timely hitting by Wilson and Olzak, both with RBI’s. Hixson battled hard from the bump, Ferrante was very solid behind the dish.
Great game to watch! Well played by both teams other than some base running mistakes! Olzak had a clutch hit and Wilson’s hit with 2 strikes to deep right center was the clincher. Morrison pitched well for HPCA. Hixson battled on the mound after getting behind on batters.
