The word coming in from Coach Will Perry over at Smith HS, is that there is going to be a big hoops event Friday night at Smith, to benefit the Golden Eagles girls basketball team……

The Attorneys/Lawyers vs. The Police Officers(GPD)/Enforcers in a fundraising basketball game this Friday night at Ben L. Smith High School:

Please come out and show your support as the Lawyers and Courthouse Personnel
team-up to face the Greensboro Police Department
(The proceeds from this event will go to the Ben L. Smith H.S. Girls Basketball
Program to aid in their fundraising efforts.)

A couple of years back they had a game like this one and it was over at Dudley and we saw attorney Jan Pritchett take the MVP Award and who knows, maybe this year we’ll the return of Kenny Free to the court(s)…..Kenny Free can play some “D”(and light up the “O”) and what do you know, maybe Kenny Free can be the MVP this year, that is if he suits up for the litigators……The game at Dudley that year, featured the doctors versus the lawyers and Cedric Cokley, from Grimsley was coaching the doctors……Friday night should be a fun night at Smith when the GPD goes at it with the attorneys……
