  • Johnathan Smith placed third in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.97 seconds, his third sub-11 second mark of the year.
  • The Quakers’ Cyle Barber took fifth in the high jump with a leap of 1.83 meters (6’0”).

Guilford’s David LaPlaca had a season-long toss of 38.68 meters (126’11”) in the javelin, which placed 11th of 12 contestants. Omari Tait’s 5.86-meter long jump matched teammate Travis Robinson’s longest leap of the year. Tait took eighth in the 11-man field.

Grant finished 11th among 21 throwers with a toss of 27.07 meters (88’9”), over 0.64 meters better than her previous school record set at last weekend’s Lynchburg College Track Classic.
