It has been raining downtown, but the tarp is on the field and they plan on pulling the tarp at 5:45pm and the plan is to play ball tonight, with the Hoppers and the Rome Braves, in game four of the five-game home stand and as of right now(5:25pm), the first pitch is still set for 7pm….Depending on how much work needs to be done on the field, once they pull the tarp, they may adjust that time, but most of the work will need to be around the dugouts and down in the bullpen bench areas to make sure that they are dry enough and in good shape so they can PLAY BALL this evening……
They are playing high school baseball in a tournament down in Graham, so we ought to be able to make it happen here tonight…..
