“Bring Your A Game”, with Jenifer Etnier at Page High School tomorrow night(Check out Rosemary Plyborn interview with the Doctor)

Friends, Athletes, Parents, Coaches!

Does this sound familiar? My 8-year-old had a dentist appointment today and has
another cavity. The dentist told him he should brush and floss twice daily – like
we don’t tell him this at home!!!

Point is – you tell your children the right mental tips regarding sports
competition. But wouldn’t it mean more coming from a UNCG professor who wrote a
book on the subject? Maybe they will listen and take it to heart! Maybe you will
learn a better way to relay your message to them so that they will actually listen
better. Wouldn’t that be nice?!?

That is why you should come to “Bring Your A Game” – a presentation by Jennifer
Etnier to youth athletes and parents about staying mentally tough during sports
competition. The event is tomorrow night- Tuesday, April 26th at 6:30 at Page High
School Auditorium. Tickets are $10. Here is the website with more info, a link to
an interview with Rosemary Plybon of WFMY News 2 and a link to buy tickets through
PayPal at www.gbcbaseball.com

Frequently Asked Questions:
Want to bring a team? Call me (Lori 587-4526). We can discuss a group discount! In
fact – make this the team practice. It will probably be raining anyway!
Can you buy tickets at the door? We won’t turn you away!
Why buy tickets now? You won’t have to wait in line. We won’t worry about how many
people will show up!

Is this a fundraiser? Yes, for the GBC 8U Baseball Team but you and your child will
benefit from Dr. Etnier’s discussion. Money raised helps pay tournament fees and
travel costs.

But I can’t come. It is bad timing. Is it ever a good time? When will an
opportunity like this come along again?
Want to support the team but cannot make it? Buy a ticket anyway (it’s a
fundraiser!); and/or forward this email to all your sporting friends!

Thanks!
