Four home runs in one day:Career day for Moore…….

Clint Moore(United States Military Academy) had four home runs for Army today…..Moore had a Grand Slam and drove in five runs in Army’s 9-0 win over Lafayette and then he came back with three home runs(a three-run HR, a two-run homer and a solo shot) in Armys’ follow-up win, 12-2, over Lafayette….In that game he had 6 RBI’s…..Moore now has 10 home runs on the season for Army…..For the afternoon, he had 4 HR’s and 11 RBI’s….On the day Clint hit home runs for the cycle with a Grand Slam, a three-run shot, a two-run HR and a solo blast….

Clint Moore(Grimsley High School) with a career-day for Army with four HR’s in one day…..A Grand Slam in one game and then three HR’s, the three-run homer, the two-run blast and a solo shot in the next game for Army over Lafayette….

Quite a day for the one-time little red headed kid, from the Pleasant Garden Community Center……

EASTON, Pa. – Clint Moore went 5-for-9 with four home runs and 11 RBI as the Army baseball team swept a Patriot League doubleheader from Lafayette on a sun-splashed Monday afternoon at Kamine Stadium.

Moore went 2-for-4 with a grand slam and an RBI double to spur Army’s 9-0 win in the opener. The Black Knights’ shortstop then went 3-for-5 with three home runs and six RBI as the Black Knights took a 12-2 decision in the nightcap.

Army (18-20, 10-6 PL) moves into a tie for first place in the Patriot League standings with Navy (10-6 PL) following today’s sweep. The Black Knights actually won three games on this pivotal Monday afternoon as the Black Knights secured an 8-6 (12 innings) verdict in the completion of Sunday’s suspended game.
