The Greensboro Grasshoppers Mark Canha has been a manager’s dream, since he joined the team(12-7), about 11 games ago….Canha’s batting average stands at .441, although he does not yet have enough at-bats, to show up in the South Atlantic League stats…..Canha at .441 and he has yet to reach the required 2.7 plate appearances needed to qualify for the batting race….He should reach that level in the next couple of days, since he missed the first 8 games of the season, on the Hoppers’ road trip to Delmarva and Lakewood….

Kyle Parker(Clemson Tiger) leads the SAL, with his batting average at .435, on the season….The Hoppers Marcell Ozuna is tied for the league lead in home runs at 7 and Ozuna has 15 RBI’s to go along with his .292 batting average….Isaac Galloway is second on the team in hitting behind Canha, with Galloway at .300……..

Last night in the Hoppers 11-0 victory over the Greenville Drive, Ozuna connected for HR #7 and third baseman Ryan Fisher hit his 3rd home run of the year….

Hoppers at Greenville Drive tonight at 7pm going for win #10 in a-row…..
