HS Baseball Bulletin Board for 4/29/11

HS Baseball due up tonight:
Oak Ridge vs. Southwestern Randolph at McCrary Field in Asheboro 5pm
Western Alamance at Northern Guilford 6pm
Dudley at Grimsley 7pm
Southeast Guilford at Page 7pm
Glenn at East Forsyth 7pm
Western Guilford at Northwest Guilford 7pm
Ragsdale at High Point Central 7pm
Northeast Guilford at Leford 7pm
Southwest Guilford at WS Parkland 7pm
Eastern Guilford at McMichael 7pm
Eastern Alamance at Burlington Williams 7pm
Rockingham County at Morehead 7pm

In the Piedmont-Triad 4-A Conference:
Glenn 9-1 with East Forsyth and HP Central left.
East Forsyth is second with a record of 7-3 and games against Glenn and Southwest left.
Northwest Guilford is in 3rd with a record of 7-4 and a game left at home with WS Parkland.
Southwest Guilford is fourth at 6-4 with games against Parkland and East Foryth.
Ragsdale is fifth at 5-6 with a game at High Point Central left.

I spent some time on the Metro 4-A Conference standings and I don’t know why I spent so much time on this, but I guess the overall curiosity was killing me and here is what I came up with and I do believe it is pretty accurate….

1)Southeast Guilford(10-1)/(20-2) Only conference loss was to Southern Alamance and at Page tonight….
2)Southern Alamance(8-3)/(16-5) Lost to Page, SEG and WG….
3)Dudley(7-4)….Lost to SEG and SA twice, beat Page, WG, Smith twice and Grimsley once…At Grimsley tonight….
4)Western Guilford(6-6)/(7-12) Topped Smith twice, Grimsley twice, Page once and Southern Alamance once….
5)Grimsley(4-7)/(9-11) Topped Smith twice and Page two times and will be hosting Dudley tonight…
6)Page(4-7)(13-8)…Topped Smith twice, Western once and Southern Alamacne one time and will be hosting SEG tonight….
7)Smith(0-11)

from Thursday:

High Point Christian Academy 10
South Lake Christian 10
