HS Baseball Bulletin Board for 5/18/11 with playoff makeup games tonight

Round Two continues tonight with:

West Forsyth(21-5) at Southeast Guilford(23-3) at 7pm……(We plan on being at this one and will be looking for Craig Jacobelli to be going for SEG and watching for Morgan and Mayhew from West Forsyth…..)
Northwest Guilford(18-9) at Providence High(25-2) in Charlotte at 7pm….Thinking out loud that NWG will go with Keaton Haack and hoping to get a score for Mr. P or Mr. B. from NWG….)
Ardrey Kell(22-4)) at Glenn(19-8)

Round Three coming up on Friday:
Cardinal Gibbons(12-13) at Northeast Guilford(25-1) at 7pm….(NEG defeated CG in Round One of the playoffs last year at NEG…..) *****Luis Paula should be rested and ready to go for NEG on the hill on Friday night, with his last outing coming versus Overhills, on Thursday May 12……*****

  1. NE got their 2nd round game in last night and won. The Cardinal Gibbons game is the 3rd round game to be played this Friday not tonight. And good luck SEG, NWG, and Glenn. Gonna be tough ones but its the playoffs and anything can happen.

  2. Good idea, I was there last night at NEG for Round Two and was also at the NEG-CG game last season…..This is the NEG Rams’ time and they need to keep on getting it and as you said, Good Luck to the teams taking the fields tonight…..

  4. Always on my way to the next game in my mind….Got started back in ’78, 1978 that is and still haven’t seen the finish line….I know it is out there somewhere and I keep heading down some of the roads/streets that have the sign DEAD END and that’s not a good sign….
