7 runs in the bottom of the 8th, with most of the runs coming with two outs, that is/was UNREAL…….(Catherine Winters was right, it is going to be a big weekend for the Hoppers and the Greensboro Grasshopper fans…..) 9,883 fans at the game tonight and they witnessed the unbelievable comeback by Andy Haines’ kids……

Greensboro Grasshoppers 9
Hagerstown Suns 6

WP:Chris Shafer(1-0)
Save:Michael Brady(5)
LP:Ben Graham(0-1)
HR:(GSO) Galloway(5)…..(HAG) Freitas(2)….Newsome(5)……The two-out, three-run Home Run by Galloway, in the bottom of the 8th inning, proved to be the difference in the game…..6-6 tie and Galloway’s homer to left field that left the building, proved to be the game-winner…..Noah Peri, lead-off batter at the top of the order, going 5-5 was unreal….Haven’t seen many hitters going 5-5 at any park…..JT Realmuto’s double to left field, that fooled Suns’ LF Wade Moore, drove in two key runs in the 8th and it proved to be a big blow too…..

We may not see or hear about another one like this for a while, but you never know, who would have thought that we would have seen this tonight at NewBridge Bank Park?????

Down by 4 runs, 6-2 in the bottom of the 8th inning and fighting most of the way back with two outs, the Greensboro Grasshoppers posted 7 runs to top #1 Bryce Harper and the Hagerstown Suns, 9-6….

You don’t see games like this one very often…..

Unreal comeback………Hoppers now (14-5) at home this season…….
