Randy Poffo, “The Macho Man” Randy Savage, died on Friday at age 58, from a heart attack he suffered, as he was driving a Jeep Cherokee(the Cherokee ended up crossing the highway median and hit a tree in a Lutheran church-yard), near his home down in Tampa, Florida…..Before he entered the professional wrestling business, Randy Savage played professional baseball and here are his numbers from
PW Torch.com:

Minor League baseball (1971 – 1974): Savage did not advance past A-level in the St. Louis Cardinals’s minor league system.

Savage finished his minor league career with a batting average of .254 with 16 home runs, 66 RBIs, and 39 doubles.

*****Pretty impressive with 16 homers and 39 double……*****
