  1. Something tells me I don’t want to be the next team in line that faces North Davidson(25-1)…..They sound pretty dadburn/dadgum tough, as Coach Roy Williams would say……

  2. North Davidson is very well coached, has a lot of community support and has some very good talent. Yes, they are a good team, but not as
good as they were last year. I watched them play Central Davidson to 1-0 win. They are beatable, Southern Alamance gave them all they wanted until their pitcher had trouble finding the strike zone and walked 11 batters. Which ever team is fortunate to face them will have their work cut out for them. I know SEG would love the opportunity to go down to Welcome, NC. for a chance to go to Raleigh. They have to get through tonight first though. SWG has been on a roll lately, they finished 4th in their conference, won their conference tournament and has beaten some good teams to get this far. It will be no cake walk for either team tonight. Jon Chambers will have them ready, but the Lady Falcons are flying high too.

  3. How good is that young lady Sarah Warnock for the Cowgirls of SWG? I hear she might be one of their best players…..

  4. She is their best player. Personlly I think she is a better catcher than pitcher. Coach Chambers has had to use her to pitch because she is the best they have. SEG beat her up pretty bad the first time they played, but that was early in the season. I heard she has improved and her drop ball is working. They are doing something right to make it this far.

  5. Congratulations to SWG, I’m sure will represent Guilford County well. SEG played well for six innings, they had a 5 run lead going into 5th inning. One bad inning with several base hits and some miss cues cost them the game. They did have chance to win it in the bottom of the 7th with one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd but could not get the tieing run in. Still it was a great season for the Lady Falcons. They bring everyone back next year except for their one senior.
