Hoppers down 3-2 going to the bottom of the 9th and Ryan Fisher grounds out to start the frame….Hoppers’ Mark Canha goes 3-0 in the count vs. Juan Sosa of Lakewood and then the next pitch is called a strike and Grasshopper manager Andy Haines argues the call and the arguement gets heated and then Andy continues to plead his case and then it gets real hot and Andy gets tossed and he tosses his helment to the ground and leaves the field for the clubhouse, to huge ovation from the Home Hopper crowd…..Canha still at the plate with the 3-1 count and then on the next pitch Mark sees ball four for real and heads to first base and then Christian Yelich is up next and walks on four straight pitches…..Marcell Ozuna up next and he hits a ground ball and the BlueClaws field it at short and get Yelich at second, but they can’t get Ozuna at first and then the throw comes in to home from Jim Murphy, the LWD first baseman and the throw gets away and Canha scores the tying run and then on the bad throw from Murphy, Ozuna takes second base…..Brian McConkey up next and with first base open, the Blueclaws walk McConkey and now the Hoppers have runners at first and second with two outs for Hoppers’ catcher Aaron Dudley, due up next……With Ozuna at second and McConkey at first, the LWD Blueclaws get Dudley down in the count, say 1-2 and then Dudley reaches out and strokes a soft liner over the LWD shortstop into left field and on two outs everyone is moving and here comes Ozuna to the plate from second, he’s rounding third and third base coach Kevin Randel tells him with the wind-mill motion, arm moving forward, to keep on running and the play at the plate, is too late and Torey Langley, the BlueClaw catcher can not get Ozuna and he scores the game-winning run and the Grasshoppers begin the celebration in the middle of the infield and they have done it again, another Walk-off victory…..Hoppers win it, 4-3 over Lakewood……And there it is, at least most of it….
