Hearing a lot of talk about today’s MLB Draft

Hot topic for Round One continues to be SS Levi Michael(North Davidson HS) from North Carolina, he’s been seen as high in Round One as #21 and as low as #33……

Here is what www.mlb.com has said most recently on Michael:

25. San Diego Padres: Levi Michael, SS, North Carolina
There’s a good chance Michael goes before things get this far, but the Padres would likely pounce if he did. If Mike Mahtook(LSU) was still around, he’d probably get a look as well.(The Florida Marlins are also looking at Mahtook, plus the Marlins have their eye on a left handed pitcher, for Round One as well….)

Others from area and they may not go in Round One, but they might go this week, before the MLB Draft work is complete….

Round One pick….The Hultzen kid from UVA…..A pitcher and he should be a Top Five pick….Others to keep a look out for:
Clint Moore(Grimsley HS/Army)
Kenny Swab(East Forsyth/UVA)
Ryan Dull(East Forsyth/UNC-Asheville)
Matt Dillon(GTCC)
Josh Tobias(Southeast Guilford HS)
Adam Griffin(Forsyth Country Day School)
George Carter(Forsyth Country Day School)
Luis Paula(Northeast Guilford HS)
Kyle Wooden(Guilford College)

*****These guys may not go, but you can still keep an eye out for them…..*****
