1. Went to see a couple of games today and saw The Hitting Zone 16u team play. They have a 6’4 pitcher that just turned 15 that is got a lot of potential. Heard a couple of college coaches say that when that kid grows into that body he will be a beast on the mound. Also saw a lefthander throw for the Zone that had about 12 k’s in 6 innings. I think both these kids go to Northern. They also have a ss from Chapel Hill that looked good as well. There was also a team from Northern Virginia that had loads of talent. Games start in the morning at Wake Forest. Think I will ride over there again and watch some good ball.
