Gripe or Complaint Box for June 10, 2011

Mid-Morning MadHouse 10am-12 Noon, Lunatics Lunch Hour from Noon till 2pm and the Afternoon DeFight from 2-6pm……

Got any new Gripes or Complaints?????

This is the box for Saturday June 10, 2011. We are taking those gripes and complaints and we have to remind you to keep it real on your subject matter.

We will be cleaning out the box at the end of each day and we may have to do some cleaning throughout the day if the material gets too thick.

Local gripes or complaints, National gripes or complaints. Is there anything that is rubbing you the wrong way? How about that coaching change or the kid that just left one high school/college and is transferring to another? What about the kid that got left off the All-Conference team or the All-State team?

Is there a school board member that really has you upset???

Let us know, and by the way, do you have anything new for us today??????

  1. Sitting here in Nashville # the Super Regional to watch game 2. Vanderbilt had 12 players drafted this week and 8 in the first 6 rounds. Now that’s pretty unbelievable!!!!!

  2. Impact Baseball advertised and touted a Showcase ID Camp at the 25 million dollar Boshamer Baseball Stadium at UNC-Chapel Hill for June 13th and 14th. $252.00 for these two days of instruction/games. Oh, but it just so happend that UNC was playing in the Super Regionals and if there were 3 games and allowing for a rain date they would possibly be playing on Monday the 13th. So, the camp was moved to DH Conley HS in Greenville, NC and then games will be played at ECU; all will agree that the HS facilities will rival the 25 million facility at UNC. Could they have not picked another time for this camp? Was it not a “stretch” to know that it might be possible that UNC would be hosting a Super Regional since they have gone to the college World Series for the last few years. Impact didn’t send out any emails on this change, you hopefully were lucky and checked their website that listed this change in the middle of last week or you showed up to an empty stadium at UNC this morning. Impact Baseball does not offer ANY REFUNDS even if you had to change your plans and now have 2 nights of hotel expenses because of the venue change. I had heard that they were a “money making” machine and this proves that. Couldn’t they have just cancelled and set another time to at least allow kids the experience of being at UNC? Couldn’t they offer some type on monetary allowance for this change? Nope, sorry; take it or leave it. Well, in the future Mr. Lee Land, I will leave it…
