Very impressive professional baseball debut for Clint Moore(Grimsley HS/Army/San Diego Padres)

Clint Moore(Grimsley High School/US Military Academy), went 3-4 in his professional baseball debut last night, for the Eugene, Oregon Emeralds short season team, with the San Diego Padres…..Moore was at third base in the game and at the plate in his first at-bat, he hit a double down the left field line and then in his next at bat, he hit a ground-rule double over the fence in left center field and then for his last hit of the night, he hit a hard grounder past the third baseman for a single….

Moore goes three-for-four in his pro baseball debut, with a double in his first at-bat……Two doubles for the game and the line of:
C. Moore 3B(position) 4 at bats… 1 run…. 3 hit… 2 doubles… 0 0 0 0 0 .750 avg………

Clint Moore’s new team, the Eugene, Oregon Emeralds, defeated the Boise Hawks 5-4 on Friday night and that was the first game of the season, for the short-season rookie team…..

Roll on Clint Moore, one of the best ball players to ever come out of Guilford County……(A vote of optimism for the young man…..)

  1. Clint Moore is one of the finest young men you could ever meet. He is an amazing athlete, leader, professional and inspiring to every young person he meets. Hooray for the San Diego Padres for knowing that our Military Service Academies produce intense athletes, dedicated professionals with courage and compassion and are an asset to any professional sport.
