According to a source, Jack McKeon, who managed the team to the 2003 World Series championship, is a name being considered. Another possibility is Bo Porter, a former Florida third-base coach who is currently on the Nationals staff. Porter interviewed for the job after Fredi Gonzalez was let go last year.

McKeon, 80, is a special advisor to owner Jeffrey Loria. He last managed in 2005.

I’ll have my ear to ground and we should know something definite on Monday…..
